A quick healthy side dish or light lunch for a busy day is so easy to make with this recipe of Veg Greek Salad enriched with salty Feta (so no extra salt needed) zero oil, and fresh crunchy veggies!

Veg Greek Salad Recipe is a Mediterranean Summer Salad that consists of sliced cucumber, tomatoes, cabbage, onions, bell peppers, olives, and feta cheese(generally as a topping). I have skipped olives and added guava!
I have always felt that having raw cucumbers or onions in a salad is not liked by all. When I mix several veggies together and give them a good toss with a hint of sweet and salty flavors, these flavors blending with each other gradually make the same raw veg salad taste heavenly.
This Vitamin C-rich Feta Greek Salad is super easy to make and can be used for up to 2 days if refrigerated.
Ingredients Overview
This oil-free Greek salad ingredients are easily available and vary a bit from the traditional greek salad recipe. I have skipped the olives and added guava instead. For the tangy flavour, one may feel free to add olives. I have used raw mango (Kacche Aam/ Ambi) for it.

The weight-loss-friendly feta veg salad includes cabbage, cherry tomatoes, onion, bell peppers, cucumber, green chilies, black pepper, red chilly flakes, flavored with feta cheese, and Maple syrup.
You may use any local fruits or veggies for this salad and may add olive oil too. If Feta cheese is not available or liked by you, you may use any other cheese or mayonnaise. You may add apple, cherries, lettuce, or zucchini. You may modify the ingredients as per availability or taste.
About Weight-Loss Salad
When you are on a diet plan, the first thing that anyone might suggest to you is to have a lot of salads!
Do you know Why??
Simply because Salads are supposed to be protein and fiber-rich and make you satiated for long.
That said, salad is the most ignored part of our food, especially in the Indian diet. We stay away from it when we should ideally have a bowl full per day. Could you say no to the high protein, high fiber salad?
Must-haves for Weight-Loss Salad
- High protein
- HIgh Fibre
- Replace Pasta or breads with gluten free substitutes or potatoes.
- Avoid adding too much salt.
- Adding boiled pulses like Beans, Chickpea is a great way to increase protein.
- Skip Oil or use healthy oils in less quantities.
- Add a dash of any sweetener like honey or maple syrup.
Proteins are added to any salad to make you full for longer. Fiber makes the salad so bulky that you may have it as a lunch. You may also like my other Weight-loss Veg Salads that are quick and delicious:
