fresh Ginger Root  fresh garlic cloves Tomatoes Desi Ghee (can use olive oil or any other cooking oil) Water Salt Black pepper

Step 1

In a food processor, blend roughly chopped ginger and garlic  to a crumbly texture. Add water if needed.

Keep ginger garlic paste in a bowl and blend fresh tomatoes in the same jar.

Heat ghee in a pan. cook Ginger garlic paste till browned.

Step 4

Add tomato puree along with salt and black pepper. Let it cook on slow flame.

Step 5

Add water and boil for 2 min on full flame. I like thin consistency for this ginger soup.

Step 6

Serve this hot and light ginger garlic soup with bread!
