Fresh sorted spinach leaves Paneer Cubes Desi Ghee onion, ginger, garlic, tomato Red chilly whole and powder Cumin seeds (jeera), turmeric powder, green chilly, Heeng

Step 1

Sort and wash  the fresh spinach or palak leaves. The best season is Nov-Feb in India.

Add the washed spinach leaves along with roughly chopped onion, tomato, ginger, garlic and green chilly. DON'tADD ANY Water

Step 3

Boil for 2 whistles and 5-10 min on slow flame. Let it cool off.

Blend to make a smooth paste.

In the same pressure cooker, add Ghee, cumin, heeng and add blended palak paste.

Step 6

Cook for 15 min on slow flame. Add paneer cubes and cook for 3-4 min or till water is absorbed.

Serve the healthy and delicious palak paneer topped with Red chilly and ghee gravy and enjoy with Chapati!
