INGREDIENTS
In a pressure cook, heat ghee, add all spices. Mix Saffron strands in milk.
Add lumps of jaggery and cook on slow flame. It will take 3-5 min for it to melt.
The jaggery syrup is don. add drained rice.
Add water to the pressure cooker. The ratio of rice to water is 1: 2. Pressure cook for two whistles on full flame and then swtch off.
The cooked jaggery rice is ready. It is fluffy and aromatic.
Serve the saffron rice made with jaggery and coconut hot!
