Take a heavy bottom pan and add milk to it. Put the milk on simmer to boil. After 5 min, you may add sugar so that it dissolves.
Add freshly grounded eliachi powder to milk.
In the meantime, you may take a small dry bowl. Add the custard powder to it.
Take out a large spoon of milk from the pan in which milk is put to boil. Take care that the temperature of the milk should be warm and not hot. Make sure to mix continuously or lumps would be formed. Slowly keep adding milk and keep mixing it.
Make a thin consistency and check for lumps. AT this stage, you may add 2 teaspoon custard powder more for a thicker custard.
Now the milk must have boiled. Keep the gas on low flame. Start pouring the custard milk mixture prepared in the above step to boiled milk. Add slowly and keep stirring so that no lumps are formed. It takes around 2-3 min for milk to become thicker and then you turn off the flame.
You may keep the milk custard to cool off. Once it reaches room temperature, keep it in fridge for cooling. Then you may chop fresh fruits for adding to the fruit custard. Keep it in fridge for around 1-2 hours. Then add the fruits to it.
The fruit custard is ready. Enjoy it!!
