Desi Ghee Halwa Easy and Quick recipe Kids Friendly Rich in Vit A

PREP TIME:  10 MIN

Grated Green Pumpkin (can use orange as well) Desi Ghee (Secret Ingredient) Sugar Cardamom  Milk (Optional)

COOK  TIME: 10 MIN

INGREDIENTS

Step 1

Wash, peel and roughly  chop pumpkin.

Grate Pumpkin or chop in very small pieces. You may blend it as well.

In a heavy bottomed pan or wok/ Kadai, heat desi ghee.

Step 4

Roast grated pumpkin/ kaddu in ghee on a simmer flame. Kaddu will leave water.

Step 5

Once the water is absorbed, add milk and sugar and cooke till it absorbs water.

Step 6

Add cardamom powder. Cook for another 1-2 min on simmer.

The decadent kaddu ka halwa is ready ! Serve it hot!
