Indian chickpea (white chana) Desi Ghee Onion, garlic, green chilly,Tomato green chili bayleaf, black pepper, red chilly powder, Chana Masla, Amchur, salt, coriander leaves

Step 1

Soak Chickpea (chana) overnight or for 4-5 hrs. Boil them in a pressure cooker for about 2 whistles on full flame and simmer for 15 min.

in a large wok (Kadai), heat desi ghee, add nayleaf, black pepper, garlic, onion. Saute for 4 min and add tomatoes.

Step 3

Add boiled chole and let it cook on slow flame for 15 min or till the gravy becomes thick. Add rest of spices.

Serve the delicious Punjabi Chana Masala with boiled rice.
