dry chickpea boiled in advacnce onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, green chily red chili & turmeric powder', chana masala salt, GHEE coconut milk spinach and mustard greens

Step 1

Sort and chop spinach and mustard greens. You may use any leafy greens for this recipe.

Chop onion, tomato, green chilly, grate garlic. Wash the spinach and mustard leaves and put in colander.

In a wok, heat ghee, add onions, garlic green chilly. When onions are pink, add tomatoes.

To the cooked onion tomato gravy, add spices and washed leafy greens. Let it cook for a min.

Add coconut milk and cook on slow flame for about 2 min.

Step 6

Add boiled chickpeas and mix well. Cook for another 3-4 min so that the flavor is mixed well.

Serve the hot chana saag with rice or chapati.
