Made with just 4 main ingredients, this Avocado Chocolate Mousse is smooth, fluffy and velvety and so decadent! Enjoy this 5 min vegan dessert that is made without any refined sugar!

The first time I tried avocado, I assumed it's just for the savory dishes. When I was making this avocado chocolate mousse, my husband's reaction was the same. He thought I made a dessert by mistake. Who won't love the chocolaty flavors and nutrition both packed in a simple dessert?
What I loved most about this recipe is that it's taste just like a dark chocolate. I have used maple syrup and unsweetened cocoa powder and no refined sugar. This is by far the most easy and simple dessert to make. Plus, there’s no cooking involved—just blend everything and chill. It's a straightforward recipe that’s perfect for anyone who is looking for a quick dessert.

Ingredients
See the recipe card for the exact ratio of ingredients.
- Avocado: Provides a creamy base and rich texture, making the mousse smooth without any dairy. Use ripe Hass avocados. They have a rich, buttery texture and a mild flavor that blends seamlessly with cocoa, creating a smooth and creamy mousse. Ensure the avocados are soft but not overripe to avoid any bitterness.
- Unsweetened Cocoa Powder: Adds deep chocolate flavor. This is going to taste like a dark chocolate. But if you like sweet flavor, I suggest using sweetened cocoa powder or dairy free sweet chocolate.
- Soy Milk: Adds perfect moisture for binding the other ingredients into a smooth texture. Use any vegan milk of your choice.
- Maple Syrup: Naturally sweetens the mousse without refined sugars.
- Pumpkin Seeds: I have blended the pumpkin seeds. You may adds them at the top for crunchy topping.
