Pumpkin smoothie is a simple recipe for a healthy in-between meal option.
Who else loves Smoothie? Did you ever think of trying something different ?
I am on a journey where I am trying to introduce my family with different tastes and must say its an adventure!!
Specially when you are not sure about the outcome and you have no back-up!!
If you have spirits on for such a thing, Go on and read further. We are surely on same page!!
Last week, I tried Beetroot Tacos…Till the last moment, I had absolutely no idea, how it will turn out to be and I had no other lunch substitute. I had already delayed the lunch because of the new recipe and had no escape from it.
Learning from experience does matter. While I was observing my mother-in-law cook, she gave me great tips and they got saved in my hard-drive. I started cooking quite late as I was just observing her cook…Seriously .. That paid off and I cook with such a confidence that even I am surprised.
Recipe is simple. If you are following me for a while, you know that I share recipes that are easy and delicious and your kitchen would have most of the ingredients and so not much shopping is required.
Here is a quick to-do for the pumpkin smoothie. I have used banana and pumpkin puree. For pumpkin puree, you may click here. You may make pumpkin puree a day before.
A fruit of your choice may be added too. Like, Plums, berries and pineapple.. I have added maple syrup. You may add honey and just be cautious never to heat honey.
So add honey to recipes that doesnt require cooking/heating. Blend together with milk and your nutritious smoothie is ready. You may add oats, flax seeds in blender for a rich breakfast!
Who would say NO to a smoothie that is rich in Calcium, Vitamin D and amazing flavour!!
Remember to share your experience with me.
