This Amla Avocado Dip/ Chutney, flavored with fresh mint and coriander leaves, spicy with green chilies and Indian spices, and sweet with jaggery, is an indulgent chutney!

My blog is vibrant with so many dip recipes because I love variety when it comes to flavors. This Amla Avocado Chutney is my take on mixing traditional Indian Amla with creamy avocado.
I first tried avocado in Guacamole then I made a chocolate mousse using it and then a mango avocado salad. This traditional blend of Indian spices and fresh greens with Amla (Indian Gooseberry) was a hit in the family. If you know me, I am a fan of Amla and have curated so many recipes using it: Amla Pickle, Amla Candy, Amla Chutney, Easy Indian Onion Chutney.
Spread it on a toast, wrap or stuff it in pita bread, dunk bread pakora, bread rolls, onion fritters or fries in it for a quick snack!

Expert Tips
- Avocado should be soft but not mushy for a creamy texture.
- This chutney is very spicy. Start with a small quantity (just ¼th of one green chili) of green chilies or skip them and add if need be.
- Consume this dip the same day, as avocado will turn brown gradually.
